Subject: Clyde Cleveland Talk on Liberty and Freedom Thursday, Jan. 20th, McClelland Town Hall

The Republic of Iowa (http://www.republicofiowa.org) is pleased to present: Clyde Cleveland, the author of Common Sense-Revisited to Fairfield, for an eye-opening presentation on our Government, with the major contents of his discussion based on the original works by Thomas Paine.

Understand why the colonists were divided and how the writing and distribution of "Common Sense", quickly brought the majority of Americans in our country back together, which ultimately compelled our Founding Fathers to complete the essential documents needed, to form the organic, "Republic for the united States of America" Constitution.

Learn about Indigenous and Surrogate Powers, and how Americans have surrendered their "Sentient Power". The good news is, we can peacefully, and lawfully, re-inhabit our sovereign status and eliminate the oppressive, top-down, de facto, federal corporate system in favor of a de jure, bottom-up, "By, of, and For the People", Republic form of Government. This is what was intended by our founding fathers, and for which many in our country have given their lives to protect.

Following Clyde's insightful presentation, we welcome everyone to stay for a Q&A session, and to discuss specific ideas for re-building our State and National Republics.

Presentation on Liberty and Freedom by Clyde Cleveland

Clyde Cleveland, the author of Common Sense-Revisited and 2002 libertarian candidate for Iowa Governor, will be hosting a presentation and discussion on the current state of our Government and how we can restore it to the Republic as originally envisioned by our Founding Fathers. Starting with how Thomas Paine's booklet Common Sense united the colonists against unfair British rule, Mr. Cleveland will trace the history of our country's government and how we arrived at the current-day situation.

Mr. Cleveland will discuss Indigenous and Surrogate Powers, and how Americans have surrendered their "Sentient Power" for the common good. His presentation will also include a detailed discussion of the bottom-up "By, of, and For the People", Republic form of Government outlined in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Following the presentation Mr. Cleveland will lead a discussion regarding how we can peacefully, and lawfully, rebuild a government that is truly "By, of, and For the People".

Mr. Cleveland will be speaking at the Hills Community Center in Hills, Iowa, at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday Jan. 19th, and at the Coralville Public Library at 7:30 p.m., also on Wednesday, Jan. 19th. Both presentations are free of charge and open to the public.

Additional information can be found at Mr. Cleveland's website, www.commonsenserevisited.com/ and www.republicofiowa.org
