Given that most Americans have very little understanding of the content of the U.S. constitution, it is easy to see how they would fail to understand how relevant it is to today's events. Without going into a detailed explanation now of how a re-enlivenment of the constitution would change modern America I offer the following food for thought:
- We would be vastly safer as a nation, saving billions off of the current military budget and effecting change throughout the world by our example of liberty and freedom
- We would not be suffering from a decline in the dollar (which is threatening to destroy not only our economy but destabilizing the whole world).
- Our primary school education system would rival that of any in the world, (instead of being ranked last of industrial nations).
- Our economy would be booming, with good jobs for anyone who wanted one.
- Our environment would be protected.
- Local communities would be fully empowered to deal with their problems, instead of relying upon the Federal or State governments.
- We would have no income tax.Federal government functions would be few and defined, dramatically decreasing the need for taxes from the people. Federal functions would be paid for by excise taxes and other “voluntary” taxes.
- Our health care system would be the best in the world, vastly less expensive, with an emphasis on well-being and vibrant health, instead of drugs and surgeries.
- We would be PROUD of ourselves as individuals and citizens, instead of an ever-present, unspoken doubts about our self worth and our future.
How can this be so? The answers are easy if you understand the "divine science" the founders incorporated into the U.S. constitution and the incredible "vision" of American intended by the founders. As these posts continue I will elaborate on how these are all not only possible, but inevitable, if we will only return to our original destiny.
